'Twas the week before vacation,
And all through Ursuline,
The students grew anxious for Christmas time.
With Jack Frost at work, keeping temperatures low,
They stared out the window, and prayed for some snow.
While teachers worked hard to keep their attention,
Most daydreamed of sugar plums, which got them detention.
For fun they wore scarves, and hats and beads,
Their uniforms looked like plaid Christmas trees.
Even the Grinch was happier than the girls of UA,
Who couldn’t wait for Christmas, even one more day.
Then loud from the Tea Room there came such a clatter,
They sprang from their classrooms to see what was the matter
When what through their wondering eyes did they see?
Good Old Saint Nick, or at least it appeared to be...
He gave them a hug, and said "Ho Ho Ho."
"Christmas is coming soon, don't you know?"
He was sent to the Principal oh so fast,
Because he did not have a visitor's pass.
After some photos, and a cookie or two,
Back through the Parking Lot Santa flew.
The students rejoiced, for Christmas was near,
"Thanks Santa," they said. "We'll see you next year!"
Santa drops in for a visit... |
"Ho, Ho, Ho" |
Santa loves the Seniors! |
Taking some time to relax with a book, before heading North... |
Begging for a visitor's pass, even though he entered through the chimney. |
The sleigh works only 1 night a year... |
Merry Christmas! |
Santa visited the teachers as well! |
Santa's helpers! |
And to All A Restful Vacation!
