Ursuline Community,
I wanted to take this opportunity to express my deepest
gratitude to our faculty, staff, students and parents for their outpouring of
support to the Manning family and the entire Ursuline community this past
week. The pride that I feel for the
school and its very special community simply cannot be expressed in words. When we speak of Ursuline Academy to families
who are seeking a school for their daughter, we often refer to it as a very
“special place.” I have often wondered
how prospective families have interpreted that phrase. We
know that no matter how well we describe the school, it is the students who
embody the spirit of all that we do! This past week, Ursuline Academy grew in its “specialness” and rallied
together to be a community…a family whose collective strength was felt by
all! I am honored to be surrounded by
such a loving and compassionate community.
After a weekend where we stopped to pay tribute to our loved ones, let us also offer
prayers of gratitude for one another! Individually, we are human beings with strengths and weaknesses. Collectively, we are one very strong
community!
